WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE HYBRID?

Our Hybrid vehicles are delivered with a Home Charging Cable.  A Public Charging Cable can be purchased for at additional cost.

WITH E-SAVE, CHARGE WHILE YOU DRIVE

When you use the e-SAVE function, the engine rotates the electric motor which is in the gearbox to recharge the battery until the programmed energy level is reached. With this function, the battery can be fully recharged (e-SAVE Max position).

You need to drive 2 km on average to recover 1 km of range (or 100 km on the motorway to recover 50 km of range). Once the set level is reached, the system switches to hybrid mode and maintains the level in the battery at the required threshold (10 km, 20 km or Max).

RECHARGE THE BATTERY BY CONNECTING CABLE 1 HOME CHARGING (Delivered with Vehicle)

Open the charging port by pressing the button at the top right of the port.
• The luminous guides in the port light up in white.
• Connect the cable on the box side to the domestic socket and then on the vehicle side.
• The luminous guides and the “CHARGING” indicator on the control box flash in green.
• Immediate charging is engaged.
• The charging connector is locked in the port and the red indicator lights up.

RECHARGE THE BATTERY BY CONNECTING CABLE 2 FAST CHARGING (Must be purchased separately)

• Purchase a subscription with the public charging station’s local operator.
• Follow the instructions for use of the public charging station.
• Connect the cable on the vehicle side.
• The luminous guides and the “CHARGING” indicator on the control box flash in green.
• Immediate charging is engaged.
• Upon locking of the vehicle the charging connector is locked in the port and the red indicator light comes on.

DISCONNECTION OF THE CABLE WHEN CHARGING IS COMPLETE

• Unlock the vehicle to unlock the charging connector from the charging port (the red indicator goes out in the port).
• Within 30 seconds, remove the charging connector and unplug the cable and put it away.

DOES THE VEHICLE COME WITH SNOW TIRES?

The tires on the delivered vehicle are not suitable for extreme conditions involving the presence of large amounts of snow and/or water.

The snow-tire chains and snow socks that we propose are easily mounted without the necessity of a specialist.

Car-2-Europe cannot mount special tires such as "snow" tires on its vehicles. If you decide to equip your vehicle with special tires, you can do it at your expense and you will have to return the car with the original tires.

Important Note: Customers are responsible for meeting all legal requirements in each country.

CRIT'AIR - AIR QUALITY CERTIFICATE

The Air Quality Certificate is a secure document issued according to the information which appears on the vehicle registration certificate. It certifies the vehicle's environmental class based on pollutant emissions.

IMPORTANT: The vehicle delivered to you under the Peugeot Car-2-Europe Plan is registered and insured in your name, however, it is not delivered with the emission badge/vignette. Therefore, as the registered owner of the vehicle, the emission badge/vignette requirements are your responsibility. The crit'Air certificate is obligatory in order to drive around certain large urban conurbations in France such as Paris, Lille, Lyon and Marseille.

When you order the crit’Air sticker, you must mention your U.S. address, and you will receive it there. You would just have to keep the copy of the certificate that can be downloaded and / or printed indicating you have ordered the crit'Air sticker. This is sufficient.

The following is information related to the procedure for obtaining the sticker:

DRIVING IN SWITZERLAND

Switzerland may be a small country, but driving these beautiful routes with their expansive vistas and towering mountains makes it seem larger than life itself. Before hitting the road, be sure to read up on the basic rules of the road, including obtaining a motorway vignette for your car. As mentioned earlier, Swiss driving laws are more stringent than most other European countries, primarily for safety reasons, and new laws were recently passed.

What is the Swiss motorway vignette?

A Swiss motorway vignette is required to use the national motorways. It's a sticker you need to apply on the inside of the windshield of your car. The price is CHF 40.
